جشنواره فیلم ترایبکا در نیویورک سالگرد اکران چند فیلم مطرح دنیای سینما را جشن می‌گیرد.
شانزدهمین جشنواره فیلم ترایبکا با تجدید دیدار بازیگران فیلم "پدرخوانده" و نمایش پشت سر هم قسمت‌های اول و دوم ماجرای کلاسیک فرانسیس فورد کوپولا به پایان می‌رسد.
به گزارش آسوشیتدپرس، برگزارکنندگان جشنواره ترایبکا چهارشنبه شب اعلام کردند به مناسبت چهل و پنجمین سال اکران "پدرخوانده"، این فیلم روی پرده خواهد رفت و بعد از آن جلسه پرسش و پاسخ با کوپولا، آل پاچینو، دایان کیتن، رابرت دووال، جیمز کان و تالیا شایر برگزار می‌شود.
طبعاً رابرت دنیرو یکی از موسسان جشنواره ترایبکا و دیگر ستاره "پدرخوانده" نیز در این مراسم حضور دارد که ۲۹ آوریل در رادیو سیتی میوزیک هال برگزار می‌شود.
در همین حال، به مناسبت بیست و پنجمین سال نمایش فیلم "سگدانی" به کارگردانی کوئنتین تارانتینو، این فیلم در ترایبکا روی پرده می‌رود و پس از آن جلسه پرسش و پاسخ با تارانتینو و بازیگران فیلم برگزار می‌شود.
همچنین به مناسبت بیست و پنجمین سال اکران فیلم انیمیشن "علاء‌الدین" دیزنی این فیلم در ترایبکا به نمایش درمی‌آید و مایکل مور هم به مناسبت پانزدهمین سال اکران "بولینگ برای کلمباین" در جشنواره شرکت می‌کند.
جشنواره فیلم ترایبکا در در نیویورک سال ۲۰۰۲ پس از حملات ۱۱ سپتامبر برای کمک به اقتصاد منهتن راه‌اندازی شد. ترایبکا نام محله‌ای نزدیک محل سابق برج‌های دوقلو در نیویورک است.
شانزدهمین جشنواره فیلم ترایبکا ۱۹ تا ۳۰ آوریل برگزار می‌شود.
