طبق تصمیم‌گیری‌های اخیر مدیران تلویزیون، «سیروس مقدم» سریال «پایتخت ۴» را برای ماه مبارک رمضان می‌سازد.
طی جلسه اخیر محمودرضا تخشید مدیر کل امور نمایش سیما با سیروس مقدم، قرار شد سریال پایتخت ۴ ویژه ماه مبارک رمضان ساخته شود.
بنا بر این گزارش، این مجموعه در ۲۶ قسمت تولید خواهد شد و تولید سریال «علی‌البدل» که پیش از این اعلام شده بود برای ماه رمضان ساخته می‌شود، به دلیل گستردگی حجم دکور به زمان دیگری موکول شد.
مجموعه تلویزیونی پایتخت تا به حال در ۳ سری ویژه نوروز تولید و پخش شده و توانسته مخاطبان بسیاری را باخود همراه کند.
این سریال تلویزیونی با داستان‌هایی از محسن تنابنده ساخته شده و تنابنده، علیرضا خمسه، احمد مهران‌فر، ریما رامین‌فر و دوقلوهای سارا و نیکا فرقانی بازیگران اصلی سریال «پایتخت» هستند.
