رنه زلوگر ستاره مجموعه فیلمهای «بریجت جونز» به زودی در نقش جودی گارلند خواننده و بازیگر مشهور امریکایی مقابل دوربین میرود. فیلم زندگینامهای «جودی» که بر اساس فیلمنامه تام اج تهیه و تولید میشود، داستان واقعی آخرین کنسرتهای ستاره هالیوود در لندن ۱۹۶۸ را به تصویر میکشد. روپرت گولد کاگردان تئاتر انگلستان که نامزدی جایزه تونی را در کارنامه دارد، از فوریه ۲۰۱۸ تولید این پروژه سینمایی را آغاز میکند.
به گزارش «هالیوود ریپورتر»، فیلم «جودی» وقایع زندگی گارلند را در سال ۱۹۶۸ به نمایش خواهد گذاشت. سی سال پیش از آن، گارلند با ایفای نقش در فیلم «جادوگر شهر اُز» به شهرتی بیسابقه دست یافت و بعد از چندین دهه کار مداوم به یکی از معروفترین ستارگان صنعت سرگرمی تبدیل شد. او در آن دوران در آستانه پیوند با میکی دین پنجمین شوهرش قرار داشت اما به رغم برخورداری از شهرت و محبوبیت، به قدری شکننده بود که هجوم خاطرات کودکی امانش را برید.
زلوگر ۴۸ ساله به تازگی بازی در دو فیلم سینمایی شامل «بهترین روز زندگیام» و «برلین دوستت دارم» را به پایان برده است. او سال گذشته بعد از شش سال غیبت از پرده سینما، با دنباله جدید کمدی پرطرفدار «بریجت جونز» دوباره فعالیت حرفهایش را از سر گرفت.
